THE PETROS HOMES BLUEBIRD PROJECT

"FOREVER HOME"

The bluebird is symbolic of joy and happiness expected to come your way in the future. It is said that if this bird has appeared in your life, it is there to remind you of all that’s good in your life and the beauty of nature around you.

One of the missions that the bluebird has in our lives is to spread happiness and joy. It reminds us to be aware of all the things we are blessed with in life which make us happy. Also known as a family bird, others build special houses for bluebirds that they return to every year to raise or shelter their family.

In 2010 Petros Homes established the “forever home” charitable program designed to give back to those in need in our local communities. And in 2020 we adopted the bluebird as our mascot and a symbol of all that is good. While we have supported many organizations and individuals throughout the years, here are some recent highlights that we are
proud to share:

  • Chili open for the city of Strongsville Rotary club,
  • Cleveland Lutheran High School Association Scholarship sponsor
  • Kick It for Cancer which benefits local childhood cancer research
  • Cystinosis research which benefits childhood kidney disease research
  • The Christ Child Society of Cleveland sponsorship that serves children in the greater Cleveland area
  • “Building Hope in the City” whose mission is to advance the good of the city of Cleveland, magnify the mission of Jesus and unleash the capability of underestimated individuals
  • The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society who we have supported through our annual company golf outings

IMPORTANT UPDATE ON COVID-19

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY AND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Model Homes and Design Centers

  • MODEL HOMES NOW OPEN. Private appointments are also available for model homes, office visits or design center meetings. Virtual tours and other visual aids to experience a tour of a specific model or move-in ready home are available as well.
  • Per Phase One State of Ohio recommendations, all visitors and Petros Homes employees and associated personnel shall wear a face covering and implement proper hand washing and/or sanitization when interacting at an in person meeting.
  • We're increasing professional cleanings of our model homes, design centers and offices.
  • We're disinfecting frequently used common areas throughout the day.
  • We're implementing a safe greeting policy. No handshakes please.
  • We respect the safe social distancing rule of thumb and will be sure to host interactions with you in a spacious environment, allowing for the recommended 6-foot person-to-person distance. As such, we may limit the number of visitors at one time to no more than 4.
  • While touring the model homes or at a selection appointment, we ask that you avoid unnecessary touching of surfaces, décor and finishes.
  • Beginning May 4th we resumed scheduling regular warranty service.  We will be staggering appointments to ensure safe distancing and will require our personnel, trades, suppliers and homeowners to wear a face covering during the service appointment. For more details on our safety practices and schedule please contact the warranty department.
  • Only employees, suppliers and trade partners are allowed on job sites. For your safety, please refrain from visiting.
  • All safe practices and social distancing rules apply to the job site as well.

As news of the virus continues to evolve, and upcoming phases are rolled out we will communicate via our website and social media and alter our efforts accordingly.
