Buyers Ken and Joan Sidon, who signed to build a new home in late 2019 in the Braemar Farmscommunity in Broadview Heights, shared that while the recent developments raised some normal concerns, it never diminished their desire to move forward or excitement to build their dream home.In fact, more of their concerns centered around selling their current home and the timing of making the transition from that home to their new one, work in their favor. “ We are retired and felt that we had so much organizing and readiness to do before we put our current home on the market,” said the couple, “we really didn’t want to make two moves.” They shared that the stay at home mandate actually helped them prepare and stay on track by affording them plenty of downtime to get everything they needed to prepare their current home for sale and feel good about the timing of selling their home in the late spring/early Summer market when most families will be looking to purchase and move.

“We have been quite impressed with Petros Homes,” said Joan. “They have really handled everything so well during the last 6-8 weeks.” “Every meeting or visit to the design center made us feel comfortable as they were practicing safe distancing,” and the facility was always clean and sanitized during our visits.” In many ways, they felt as if the ability to concentrate more on their selection choices really moved the process along in a much more timely fashion as everyone was equally focused on getting things wrapped up so not to delay the construction schedule. “Every single member of their team has been great to work with and exhibited extreme professionalism.” “Sure there was some nervousness when the pandemic first started,” but it really never took away our excitement at building our new home and moving closer to our children and their families.
