What do you do for work? What do you like to do in your spare time?
I am recently retired, but I do teach yoga and bootcamp classes. For fun I love to workout, hike, golf, play pickleball, listen to live bands and have nice dinners and wine with friends.
Why did you choose Petros Homes and Specifically, Bordeaux Crossings?
I chose Petros based on their reputation and specifically Bordeaux Crossings because I didn’t want property with a lot of land to maintain. I was looking for a community that offered a low-maintenance lifestyle with benefits like lawn care and snow removal. Around the holidays, I live in Naples, so the “lock-and-leave” lifestyle was a must-have.
What features of your new home and community are you most excited about?
I’m most excited about the steam shower I decided to add to my primary bathroom! I am also looking forward to getting ingrained into the community.
What advice would you share with someone who is considering right-sizing and/or low-maintenance lifestyle?
First, I would say… you CAN have it all. Also, I think it’s important to enjoy the build process. Tricia, Petros Homes’ interior designer, helped walk me through the whole process which really helped me create a cohesive design. It was also helpful that Bordeaux Crossings has 2 model homes that I could take ideas from and help me with furniture placement.
