There are many variables that come into play when building a new home that can affect a delivery date.  Weather, local government and city restrictions, availability of trades and contractors and availability and delivery of materials for your new home.  Some of these items are out of everyone’s control, including the builder.

In our three decades of building over 2500 new homes for families across Northeast Ohio, one reason remains at the top of the list almost every time is being prepared to make timely and informed selections for all the various finish details of your new home.

In most cases, people are fortunate to build one maybe two new homes in their lifetime.  The most rewarding part of owning a brand new home is just that. Everything is truly brand new.  The complexity of the selections that you will be asked to choose will vary depending on the price range, size and design of your new home. Many times in an entry-level price point or a community of townhomes where floor plans are kept to a limit, the builder will offer pre-selected packages chosen by interior design specialists that make the process easier as well as compliment the community floor plans. On the other end of the spectrum, a true custom design that requires several meetings to draw, refine and prepare will land on the other end of the spectrum with the customer needing to make many interior and exterior design selections to complete the building of their new home.
