After many years of living in and around the downtown Cleveland area, Ariana decided she was ready for a change of scenery. What kind of work do you do? What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Professionally, I work in account management for a marketing software company. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my dog, trying new restaurants, enjoying a good cup of coffee, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.
What led you to leave urban renting and move to Broadview Heights?
Was there something you were missing downtown that you found here? Were you looking for more space, quieter surroundings, or something else?
After living downtown for many years, I realized I was ready for a change. While I loved the convenience and energy of city living, I found myself wanting more space, a quieter environment, and a home that better aligned with the lifestyle I wanted. I was looking for a home that offered a better balance between comfort and lifestyle. Having more space, both inside and outside my home, became increasingly important to me. I also wanted a place that felt more peaceful while still providing easy access to everything I enjoy. When I found this community, it immediately felt like the right fit. It offered the space, design, and atmosphere I had been looking for, and it felt like the perfect place to begin this next chapter.
What made Bordeaux Crossings the right fit for your lifestyle?
Were there specific features, amenities, or the location itself that influenced your decision? How do those compare to your previous residence?
It was really a combination of several things. The location was a major factor because it offered the convenience I was looking for while also providing a quieter, more relaxed setting. I was also drawn to the design and finishes throughout the home. I appreciated the thoughtful details, modern aesthetic, and overall layout. Compared to my previous residence, this home feels more spacious, functional, and intentionally designed for the way I want to live. Ultimately, it wasn’t just one specific feature that influenced my decision. It was the combination of the location, the quality of the home, and the overall feeling I had when I walked through it that made me feel confident that I had found the right place.
How has your daily routine or commute changed since moving here?
Do you feel like you have a better work-life balance now? Are there new spots you love to visit nearby?
Absolutely. Having a quieter and more comfortable home environment has helped me create a better balance between work and personal time. I’m also looking forward to the sidewalks being completed because I love staying active and walking whenever I can. One of my favorite things about the location is being able to walk to the winery and enjoy everything the area has to offer. I’m excited to continue exploring the neighborhood and discovering even more local favorites.
What features of your new home do you love most, and why?
Are there design choices, something specific to your floorplan, or features of your new home that stand out to you? How have these features made a difference in your everyday life?
There are so many details throughout the home that stand out to me, but the stone fireplace is definitely one of my favorite features. It immediately creates a warm and inviting atmosphere and serves as a beautiful focal point in the living space. I also love the openness of the floor plan. The layout makes the home feel bright, spacious, and perfect for both everyday living and entertaining. The quartz countertops, incredible amount of storage, and beautiful foyer with the staircase are all features that immediately caught my attention. What stands out most is the level of craftsmanship and design throughout the entire home. You can tell that a great deal of thought went into every detail. The finishes feel elevated and timeless, and it’s clear that Petros prioritizes both quality and design. Those features have already made a difference in my everyday life by making the home feel both functional and welcoming. It’s a space that feels beautiful while still being practical, which is exactly what I was looking for.
What advice would you give others considering a move from the city to the suburbs?
What would you tell someone who is hesitant to leave downtown? Any tips for making the transition smoother?
I would tell them that it’s completely normal to feel hesitant. After living downtown for many years, the idea of making such a big change can feel a little intimidating. My advice would be to focus on what you’re gaining rather than what you’re leaving behind. Since moving into a larger space, I’ve realized how much I appreciate having room to spread out and truly relax. Being able to enjoy my weekends without the constant noise and activity that often come with downtown living has made a huge difference. One thing I quickly realized is that moving doesn’t mean you’re giving up everything you loved about living downtown. I’m still close enough to enjoy all of my favorite restaurants, events, and activities whenever I want, but I can come home to a quieter and more peaceful environment. Looking back, I’m incredibly happy that I made the decision to move. This community felt like the perfect next step from downtown living and offered the balance I didn’t realize I was missing.

I’d especially like to recognize Donna, who has been incredibly welcoming and helpful since day one. She never hesitated to answer questions and consistently went above and beyond to make the entire process feel easier and far less overwhelming. I would also like to recognize the entire Petros team. Every person I worked with was professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in creating a positive experience from start to finish. Beyond the outstanding customer experience, the home itself exceeded my expectations. It’s a beautiful yet highly functional space, and the quality of the finishes are exceptional. It’s clear that a great deal of thought goes into both the design and craftsmanship of each home. Closing day was another memorable part of the experience. Petros created such an authentic and thoughtful welcome into my new home, and those small details made a lasting impression. It’s often the little things that make the biggest difference, and that’s what stood out to me throughout this entire experience. Between the exceptional team, the thoughtful design, and the quality of the home itself, I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another home from Petros in the future.
